I hope this message finds you well. I’m yannick-robin mirko, a two-spirit disabled artist. I went to Berklee College of Music for musical theatre, though after performing in several regional productions last year as well as an Off-Broadway piece and going viral on for speaking out against ableism in the theatre industry (see the 8 million views and hundreds of fan-made videos discussing this through #saverickypotts on TikTok), I've decided to pivot and focus on the dreams I put aside to perform other people's exclusionary works: producing myself as a musician/artist as it's own entity, not laced to a character or any boxes.
